Kangana Ranaut‘s most awaited film Manikarnika is all set to release on 25th January but the movie is facing big clash with Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s
Thackeray. The makers of Thackeray has recently got rid of Emraan Hashmi’s Cheat India release as its date of release has been shifted. But they haven’t made any attempt to make the change in Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika release date.

Heretofore, all of the three films Manikarnika, Cheat India and
Thackeray were supposed to release on the same day but through the negotiation Emraan Hashmi’s Cheat India is going to release on January 18.

According to media reports, Manikarnika’s new song name “Vijayi Bhava” has got a release on Wednesday evening and during the event, Kangana Ranaut was asked about the clash issues with Nawazuddin Siddiqui‘s
Thackeray. The reporters asked Kangana that was she ever approached by the Thackeray‘s team to change its release date, Kangana replied “No one told us any such thing. Neither anyone told us to postpone the release date nor there was any kind of pressure on us. In fact, no one even approached us. So, we are very happy that we have a sort of a big window, there is a vacation. It’s a kind of a festive release. So, two films can easily come.”

Kangana added “So far, nobody has pressured us. It will become wrong to say that someone has approached us or pressured us into doing something that we don’t want to do,”

Manikarnika which is a Biopic of freedom fighter Jhansi Ki Rani Rani Laxmi Bai is receiving much acclaim form the critics as Kangana Ranaut is playing Laxmibai’s role which’s quite fierce and Bold. However, through this magnum opus, TV actress Ankita Lokhande is also ready to set her foot in film industry. Ankita Lokhande and Suresh Oberoi is playing pivotal roles in the film.

The script was penned down by Baahubali’s Vijayendra Prasad and dialogues were written by Prasoon Joshi.
