Soorma Box Office Collection: An Opening week is very crucial for a film as it not only sets the tone for the upcoming week but also contributes most in the lifetime business. Soorma managed to mince a total 21.21 Crore during its opening week with a steady collection at the box office all through the week.
With Janhavi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar‘s Dhadak releasing today, Soorma has lost a good amount of screens at the ticket windows. The second week is very crucial for the film as it will give us the clear idea about its lifetime business.

It seems the inspirational story of Sandeep Sharma, the unsung hero of India hockey is steadily making its way into people’s heart. The biopic collects 1.65 Crore on Thursday i.e. day 7 and now stands with the grand total of Rs 21.21 crore.

Soorma is an intriguing story of how Love pushes Sandeep towards Hockey and how when he was just about to win the world with his Hockey skills, a stray bullet hit him while traveling in Shatabdi Express, paralyzing him waist below. The Hockey Legend made a comeback to the Indian Hockey team after two years, armed by his sheer will to fight against all odds.
Helmed by Shaad Ali, Soorma marks the debut of Chitrangada Singh as a producer. It features singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh as Sandeep aka Flicker Singh, Tapsee Pannu as his love interest Harpreet Kaur, Angad Bedi as Sandeep’s elder brother Bikramjeet.
