October opening weekend Collection Prediction

After 2 big hits of 2017 – Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Judwaa 2, Varun Dhawan is back in 2018 with Soojit Sircar’s Film October. It is Varun Dhawan’s first collaboration with the fame behind the direction of Madras Cafe, Piku and Pink. October will also be debut for Banita Sandhu.

Box Collection Prediction of October.

Although it’s a niche topic, Varun Dhawan being the lead actor, the film has got a wide release. According to Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh, October will release across 1683 screens in India and 625 screens overseas which comes to a decent total of 2308 Screen release.

October is predicted to earn 7 crores on Day 1 and almost 20-25 crores by the first weekend if the word of mouth spread fast and positive. The film is expected to run on the Varun Dhawan’s credibility, atleast for the first week. Looking towards the blockbusters Varun has given in the past he is truly a next generation superstar.

As per Trade Analyst Amul Vikas Mohan:

“October will not rake in crazy numbers at the box office because it is not a commercial film. However, having said that, I still feel October will earn Rs 7 crore plus on day one. It should go on to grow courtesy the word of mouth publicity and end up with Rs 20 – 25 crore over the first weekend.”

Varun Dhawan slashed on fees to work in October.

Varun Dhawan has reportedly slashed his fees so that he can fit into the movie budget of 30-40 crores. The film is expected to make a decent start and the rest all will depend upon mouth publicity.

The biggest credits recieved by the critics for the movie October is for its writing. Writer Juhi Chaturvedi is recieving much appreciation as the story has been written and not constructed. And Icing on the cake is Soojit Sircar’s Direction. Hard work of Varun Dhawan is clearly visible and will pay off for sure. Debutant Banita Sandhu has also done a wonderful role in the film. The movie is full of feelings which no words can describe. You need to watch it to feel it.
