Padmavati (Padmaavat) Box Office Collection Day 4 : Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati (Padmaavat) is all set to create records at the Indian Box Office. The movie already collected 83 crores till Saurday and added 30+ crores on Sunday. The film comfortably enters the 100 crore club by its first weekend only. Inspite of the immense revolt by the Karni Sena and restrictive release, the historical film still manages to create history.

The Film had a paid preview in 1200 screens on Wednesday 24th January and Official release in 3200 screens on Thursday 25th January. Padmaavat (Padmavati) collected 5 crores in the paid preview and 19 crores on its opening day inspite of it being a working day. The strategical release on a weekday, a day before the long weekend proved in the favour of the movie as people gained confidence of riot free first day to watch movie safely.

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala tweeted that Padmaavat (Padmavati) has seen 30+ crore Collection on Sunday making the first Weekend Collection reach 115 crore.

Numbers prove controversy worked in the favour of Padmaavat (Padmavati)
The numbers at the Box Office has proved that the controversy has only helped increasing the curiosity of the filmgoers to know the reason for all the drama by watching the film. Inspite of the restricted screening the film easily enters the 100 crore club in its first weekend as expected. Though it was very much necessary also as it costed almost 180 crores in its making. With 11 days remaining for Akshay Kumar’s Pad Man to release it is hopeful that the film will make good money after recovering its expenses. Padman was going to release on 26th January but just to avoid its clash with the high budget Padmaavat (Padmavati) it changed its release date after the producers of Padmavati requested.

Trade analyst, Taran Adarsh tweeted the Box Office Collection of Padmaavat (Padmavati) overseas. The film released worldwide on 25th January. In just 2 days the film earned 4.65 crore in Australia, 2.34 crore in UK, 76.1 Lakhs in New Zealand and 52.45 Lakhs in Germany in 2 days.
