Rajkummar Rao is on a roll. The actor is riding on his success in the recent Bollywood movies such as Bareilly Ki Barfi, Newton and is set to release another film Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana this Friday.
But the national award winning actor is all set to make his debut on the digital screen as he will be seen playing the role of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose in much awaited ALTBalaji’s web-series ‘Bose: Dead/Alive.’
The trailer of the web-series released a couple of months ago and had hinted us that the series would dig deep into the mysterious life of the great freedom fighter and unveil many unknown facts.
The second trailer has just released, and we can say without a doubt that there is no one better to play the role of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on screen, other than Rajkumar Rao.
Rajkumar Rao has gone to have several physical changes to look like Netaji and inevitably, the entire effort can be seen as he is expected to nail this role as well.
BOSE: DEAD/ALIVE Second Trailer
The beginning of the second trailer saw Bose meeting with the German monarch Adolf Hiller. The fact that Bose had a German wife was also shown in the trailer. These were among the few things seen in the trailer. His interactions with Mahatma Gandhi and British officials were also seen in the trailer.
Well, the setting and costumes seen in the trailer are absolutely on point. The web-series is expected to be a very accurate with the facts.
Bose: Dead/Alive follows the journey of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose from being an introvert to a staunch nationalist and a rebel. The web-series will be released on ALTBalaji, which is financed by Ekta Kapoor. It will be directed by Pulkit and has Hansal Mehta as its creative producer. Rajkummar has already delivered some exceptional work with Hansal in movies like Shahid, CityLights, and Aligarh.
The show also has Sanjay Gurbaxani, Surendra Rajan, Patralekha, Naveen Kasturia and Anna Ador in the cast, and will begin streaming from November 20.
