With an empty seat right next to Prince William’s at the Prince Härrý and Meghan Markle’s Royal Wedding, The Twitter was flooded with the perception that the empty space was kept in the fond remembrance of Prince Harry and Prince William’s mother, Late Princess Diana.

With the Twitter being flooded with this question and various apprehensions such as Princess Diana’s symbolic pressence after the seat next to Prince William’s was kept empty here is the real reason behind it. A source informed that the seat had been unoccupied not for symbolic reason but more of practical reason. It is because the Queen Elizabeth II, 92 was sitting right behind.

Though The unoccupied seat was not for Princess Diana, there were various other ways in which Prince Härrý and Meghan Markle paid tribute to Late Princess Diana.
Prince Harry in his official statement on May 4th mentioned that the Royals were keen to involve her mother’s family in the wedding. All the three siblings of Princess Diana will make it to the wedding and Lady Jane will also be representing her family in memory of her late sister and Princess of Wales, Princess Diana at the Wedding Day.
Meghan Markle’s bridal bouquet was made up of Forget me nots. Prince Harry reportedly handpicked them from their garden in the Kensington Palace and they were her mother’s favourite.
Besides ‘Guide Me O Thou Great Redeemer’ was sung at the Wedding. It was an unexpected and an emotional tribute as the very same song was sung at Diana’s funeral.
Härrý even included the stones that belonged to her mother in the engagement ring of Meghan Markle. Meghan considers it to be very thoughtful as she was unable to meet Harry’s mom and with the stones close to her she’ll be a part of this with them.
