Stree: For the uninformed, Stree means Woman in English. Numerous of you have already watched its trailer earlier and waiting for its release. As the film got released on its selected date; it hits the many news headlines for the reviews. So, the movie is based on a female Ghost called ‘Stree’ who hunts Men and left clothes behind, while the trailer already hints us the plot of the story. Here we have the lanes of Chanderi and Vicky (Rajkummar Rao), the tailor of the place.
The female ghost called Stree used to come to the village during the puja and seized down the males of the area. The Hype of the ghost Stree revolves around Shraddha Kapoor who supposed to be the ghost of the film. But is she? Vicky’s close friends Bittu (Aparshakti Khurrana) and Jana (Abhishek Banerjee) get afraid of his meeting with this unknown girl.
Rudra (Pankaj Tripathi) is an expert of this much-hyped ghost and gives teaching to all these three people. The first halves focus on the existence of the Stree and second halves focusing on clarifying who’s Stree? Is she Shraddha Kapoor? Well, the suspense intrigued you till the last.
The star performance in Stree
As usual, Rajkumar Rao lifts the show a top-notch higher with his perfect comedy timing with the all three superstars- Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana, and Abhishek Banerjee. Shraddha Kapoor will occupy you with her beauty and acting stint. The dialogues have comedy punches but the way it delivers will make you glued to your seats or in continues laugh.
Watch it or not?
Don’t expect anything high from the flick. It is a must watch film, will leave you in giggling.
