So it, comes as no surprise that it was her that got the privilege of achieving the feat of 25 million followers on Instagram. The 35-year old actress has beaten Deepika Padukone just by a whisker as the Padmaavat actress currently has 24.9 million followers.

Closely behind Deepika in the race of 25 million followers are Virat Kohli and Alia Bhatt with approx 22.7 million followers each. With 21.7 million followers Shraddha Kapoor might soon reach the milestone as well.

Not just Instagram Priyanka is very popular on other social media platform as well. Her official twitter account has 23 million followers and her Facebook page she has 37 million likes. Undoubtedly, she is the social media queen of Bollywood.

Priyanka returns to Bollywood with Bharat

On the work front, PC will soon return to Bollywood with start Bharat opposite Salman Khan. It is the official remake of a Korean film An Ode to my Father and will have Salman will portray the character right from 18 to 80-year-old.

Touted to be an emotionally driven film the project is helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who has previously given box office hits like Tiger Zinda Hai, Sultan, Gunday and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. Produced by Khan’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri the movie is set to hit the screens in Eid 2019.
