John Stamos and Caitlin McHugh officially tie the knot! The duo is reported to have wed in an afternoon ceremony attended by close friends and relatives at Little Brown Church in Studio City on Saturday.The newlyweds then threw a grand backyard reception with the dance floor, in Beverly Hills at Stamos’s home.
Stamos,54 wore a tuxedo suit and his 31-year-old pregnant fiancee Caitlin opted for a traditional white ballgown.
Stamos as an actor is best known for playing Uncle Jesse on Full House and Fuller House whereas McHugh has appeared on The Vampire Diaries and in Switched at Birth.
Couple dated for 2 years
It is reported that the couple shares a courtship of about 2 years. After two years of dating, Stamos proposed Caitlin on Oct. 22, 2017, and the couple got engaged in Disneyland in October last year.
Last year in December Stamos posted a pic on social media revealing McHugh’s pregnancy that showed her baby bump on the red carpet along with Stamos. He said that McHugh was pregnant with their first child.
Stamos said in People Magazine interview:
“The [pregnancy] happened. Then I said, I better have a ring on her finger because it’s the right thing to do, and I wanted to marry her anyway. So I called her parents to ask, and it was like, ‘You better!’”
Later the news of their babymooning in Arizona also broke in January when Stamos shared pictures on social media.
Second Marriage for Stamos
This is Stamos’s second marriage. The actor was previously married to actress Rebecca Romijn for 7 years from 1998 to 2005.Stamos mentioned he has grown since his previous marriage to her ex Rebecca “I was young. My values weren’t set properly.I’ve kicked and screamed going into adulthood.”
Now Stamos is hopeful to start a family again and we wish the couple good luck for their married life ahead.
