John Abraham to star in Nikkhil Advani’s Batla House.

Bollywood Actor cum producer John Abraham is all set for his second collaboration with director Nikkhil Advani for his upcoming project Batla House. Previously they had worked together in Salaam-E-Ishq. The film is based on the recent operation of the police – The encounter at the L-Batla house. Read here for details.

Emmay Entertainment, The production house of Nikkhil Advani tweeted about their collaboration saying:

“We are thrilled to announce @nikkhiladvani’s next directorial venture starring @TheJohnAbraham in story of one of the most talked-about police operation in recent times, the encounter at L-18 Batla house.”

Besides Nikkhil Advani also tweeted on his official Twitter account saying:

“An association that began way back in 2005. I am so thrilled to be collaborating with @writish once again after #Dday @AirliftFilm We have worked for three years on this story and are so happy to have @TheJohnAbraham help us tell it. #BatlaHouse @EmmayEntertain”

About the movie Batla House

Talking about the Movie, Nikkhil Advani said to the Ahmedabad Mirror that the movie will showcase the encounter from 3 angles. One from that of Police, from that of the people present there who believed that the bullet were flying for the shooting of the tv serial Swabhimaan which was being shot in the vicinity just a couple of days back and the actual angle. John Abraham will play the role of ACP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav in Batla House. Nikkhil Advani added that John Abraham perfectly suits for the role of Sanjeev Kumar Yadav and he pulls of the role very easily. The role of Sanjeev Kumar Yadav needed a person who is physically and mentally strong and John Abraham perfectly fits the bill.
