Akshay Kumar’s Gold has received love from all the quarters as the movie has become fifth highest grosser of the year. It seems like Akshay’s fans are wanting more from the actor’s side. According to movie reviews by online sites, Akshay Kumar being the hero of the film has given enough space to the other actors to define their roles. Unlike his other films, Akshay is not the hero of the film; he is just a man with a dream of winning its nation.

Gold has given preference to all of his other cast, while there’s Kunal Kapoor as a hockey captain, Vineet Singh’s Muslim vice-captain, and a freedom fighter. Meanwhile, the team’s inner push and pull are presented by the competition between Amit Sadh and Sunny Kaushal. Thus, they give us Chak De Déjà vu during the Gold.

When it goes on to become successful, then I will be very happy and thankful for it,” Mouni had said earlier.
