Hollywood latest release American superhero film Deadpool 2, is doing well at the box office. It is the 11th installment of X-men film series, the movie is the sequel of 2016 film Deadpool. The film started with superior reviews in India by critics and audience. Deadpool 2 may get the fourth highest opening of 2018 in India after Padmaavat, Baagi 2 and Marvel’s production Avengers: Infinity War.

Deadpool 2 1st weekend box office collection prediction

The movie will collect 20 cr on its opening weekend. Film trade analyst Akshaye Rathi said that:

“By the weekend, I feel, the film can easily pack a bare minimum total of Rs 20 crore.”

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh said that:

“Hollywood films are on a roll. Deadpool 2 takes a big start across India (it was expected). Not just English, the Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions have also opened to very good occupancy.”

The Hollywood film is released on around 2000 screens in all versions in India. the film is directed by David Leitch with the star cast Ryan Reynolds in lead role and Josh Brolin, Julian Dennison, Zazie Beetz, TJ Miller, Brianna Hildebrand, Jack Kesy and Stefan Kapicic.

Variety Magazine reported that:

“Deadpool 2 is expected to end Infinity War’s three-week rule, eyeing a release between $130 million and $150 million in North America. Should it open toward the end of that range, it would top its own record of the biggest opening weekend for an R-rated film.”

The film easily becomes one of the favorite superhero movies. This movie proved that the audience are looking for is to have a good laugh at the theaters and consequently, the buzz and excitement around Deadpool 2 is also humongous. After Avengers: Infinity War, it is the second Hollywood movie which hit alone on the screens of India.
