Shah Rukh Khan starrer film zero is gearing up to release but before its release, the film is in trouble. General Secretary of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) Manjinder Singh Sirsa filed a complaint against the actor and the director Aanand L Rai on 5 November on the grounds that the Gatra Kirpan, which is considered holy by the Sikhs, which is shown in the film as an ordinary sword. So Sirsa demanded to delete the particular scene from the film and addressed a letter to Rai. He also said that if the objectionable scenes are not removed then the Sikh community would stage protest against the film and stop the screening of the film in the cinemas.

The Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC) will examine the scenes in the film after the petition, the board is required to assess the film and file a report about it before 18 December. Apart from King Khan, the film has also stared Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.
