Bombay High Court demands CBFC to examine Shah Rukh Khan Starrer Zero scenes, if it hurts Sikh sentiments.

Shah Rukh Khan's film Zero facing trouble before its release to hurt the Sikhs religion sentiment by showing Gatra Kirpan as an ordinary sword in the film.

Shah Rukh Khan starrer film zero is gearing up to release but before its release, the film is in trouble. General Secretary of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) Manjinder Singh Sirsa filed a complaint against the actor and the director Aanand L Rai on 5 November on the grounds that the Gatra Kirpan, which is considered holy by the Sikhs, which is shown in the film as an ordinary sword. So Sirsa demanded to delete the particular scene from the film and addressed a letter to Rai. He also said that if the objectionable scenes are not removed then the Sikh community would stage protest against the film and stop the screening of the film in the cinemas.

Delhi High Court gives warning to Shah Rukh Khan Production house Red Chillies Entertainment on Thursday. The PR team of the film also said that Sirsa said that no image or visual or image in the film portrayed the Kirpan makers have no right to hurt any religious sentiments.

The Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC) will examine the scenes in the film after the petition, the board is required to assess the film and file a report about it before 18 December. Apart from King Khan, the film has also stared Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. Shan Rukh Khan playing the role of the Physically Challenged person, once again the actor has a chance to prove his acting for which he is known as the King of Bollywood.

This is not the first time when actor faces this situation, before that the actor alleged to hurt the Kalinga Sena sentiment by his 2001 release Asoka.
