After Badhaai Ho, the box office has witnessed another heat of amazing collection of Saif Ali Khan’s Bazaar. The film Bazaar’s story decoded the life of Mumbai city and its dark shade of Stockholders. As the audiences are showering their love on its powerful dialogues- ‘Yaha Paisa Bhagwaan Nahin Par Bhagwaan Se Kam Nahin’. Also, the movie has Saif Ali Khan in a completely different attitude as they missed his charm in Race series. Along with Radhika Apte, Chitrangada Singh, and Rohan Mehra, the film has strike the right chord of people’s heart.
Let’s talk about its box office journey despite facing competition from Badhaai Ho which has become very popular in cinema houses. The film has opened up with a decent amount Rs 3.07 crore and showed growth on its next day with Rs 4.10 crore. While on Sunday the film has earned Rs 4.76 crore taking total amount to Rs 11.93 crore. Its day 4 collection is Rs 2 crore.
Taran Adarsh tweeted”#Baazaar picks up pace on Day 2… Witnesses 33.55% growth, which is a healthy trend… Needs to regain lost ground by scoring higher numbers on Day 3 and also on weekdays… Mumbai circuit is performing better… Fri 3.07 cr, Sat 4.10 cr. Total: ₹ 7.17 cr. India biz.” (sic)
Furthermore, the movie has witnessed the lukewarm response in the North including Up with the collection of Rs 50 lakh and East Punjab with Rs 20 lakh nett.
Taran Adarsh tweeted for Badhaai Ho while comparing it with new releases at box office “#BadhaaiHo remains unaffected by the plethora of new releases… Remains the first choice of moviegoers… North circuits are contributing enormously to its super score… Expected to grow on second Sat and Sun… (Week 2) Fri 3.40 cr. Total: ₹ 69.50 cr. India biz.”
Thus, Saif Ali Khan’s Bazaar has to either wait or put some efforts to attract the audience and make it work at cinema houses.
