This Friday, Saif Ali Khan came up with a film Bazaar based on Mumbai’s city life which derives you into the shady world of stockbrokers. However, the movie also stars Radhika Apte, Chitranganda Singh, and Rohan Mehra which pushes the audience towards the cinema halls. While facing tough competition from Ayushmann’s Badhaai Ho, Saif Ali Khan’s Bazaar has kept itself stirring at the race of box office.
Film Bazaar had opened up with a decent note Rs 3.07 crore and showed growth around 30 to 35 percent with Rs 4.10 crore on Saturday. Hence, the word of mouth and mixed reviews of critics worked well for the film and it has stunned everyone with a collection of Rs 4.76 crore on its day 3.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote”#Baazaar picks up pace on Day 2… Witnesses 33.55% growth, which is a healthy trend… Needs to regain lost ground by scoring higher numbers on Day 3 and also on weekdays… Mumbai circuit is performing better… Fri 3.07 cr, Sat 4.10 cr. Meanwhile, Badhaai Ho is still running strong at the box office as it heads towards the Rs 100 crore club. Currently its stands with Rs 76 crore. Badhaai Ho is the story about the sex life of a middle-aged couple and planning baby which embarrassed the whole family. The movie is making the audience laugh out loud.
