Ayushmann Khurrana’s much-hyped film Badhaai Ho is making records at Box Office. Ayushmann’s Bollywood career seems to be the bestest at this time as he came up with hit after hit films. Within two years he got Bareilly Ki Barfi, Shubh Mangal Saawdhan, and AndhaDhun which were the super duper hits. We could say, his success mantra is Common Man, Entertaining Story, and a Low Budget which has changed the complete game of Bollywood. He emerges out as the actor who believes in social-oriented films which don’t require high budget and hip pop music. Sounds Good!
Badhaai Ho is the second directorial of Amit Sharma, who first directed Arjun Kapoor’s starrer Tevar. While the movie released alongside Tevar’s actor Arjun Kapoor’s Namaste England which’s not fine at Box Office.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote about its overseas collection “#BadhaaiHo is raking in big numbers in Australia… Something that’s associated with A-list stars or big-budget movies… Thu A$ 1,033 Fri A$ 68,079 Sat A$ 108,815 / 23 locations Total: A$ 177,927 [₹ 92.98 lakhs].”
However, the movie has started with a great note Rs 7.29 crore, on Friday Rs 11.67 crore, on Saturday Rs 12.50 crore and on Sunday Rs 13.50 crore. The total collection of Badhaai Ho is Rs 45.06 crores.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the box office figures: “#BadhaaiHo is UNSTOPPABLE… Hits double digits yet again on Day 3 [Sat]… Thu 7.29 cr, Fri 11.67 cr, Sat 12.50 cr. Total: ₹ 31.46 cr. India biz… Eyes ₹ 45 cr [+/-] extended weekend, which is PHENOMENAL.”
Within four days Badhaai Ho is all set to enter in Rs 50 crore club which is a huge success for the actor’s career. The movie focuses on a very sensitive issue, sex life of aged couples wherein Neena Gupta played the role of a pregnant woman who has two grown-up sons. Afterward, the movie revolves around the awkwardness facing by Ayushmann Khurrana and other family members.
