There’s a saying in Bollywood that if the film is worth to watch then it will automatically make its way to the heart of the audience. AndhaDhun has done the exact as despite facing the low earning on its first day, AndhaDhun has shown growth on its upcoming days. While performing the role of a blind piano artist Ayushmann Khurana learned to behave like a blind person. Whenever he stepped into the role, he started behaving like the blind person.
However, the film has earned more than Rs 30 crore on its second week while the LoveYatri has disappeared from the cinema houses. AndhaDhun opened up with Rs 2.70 crore which was the bad collection but on the next day it has earned Rs 5.10 crore. Thus its first weekend box office collection was Rs 7.20 crore. The positive mouth publicity has worked well for the growth of AndhaDhun. The first Monday, AndhaDhun has earned Rs 3.40 crore, on Tuesday it has earned Rs 3.50 crore, Wednesday Rs 3.25 crore, Thursday Rs 2.50 crore.
Likewise, AndhaDhun earned Rs 30.65 crore on its first week. Taran Adarsh wrote “#AndhaDhun emerges the first choice of moviegoers… Growth on Day 4 [vis-à-vis Day 1]: 25.93%… Jump in biz from Day 2 onwards indicates the strong word of mouth has come into play… Fri 2.70 cr, Sat 5.10 cr, Sun 7.20 cr, Mon 3.40 cr. Total: ₹ 18.40 cr. India biz.” The total collection of AndhaDhun is Rs 41.05 crore.
Salman Khan’s home production Loveyatri marked the bollywood debut of Ayush Sharma and Warina Hussain. However, the film has failed to impress the audience and earned very low at Box Office. Loveyatri opened up with Rs 2.8 crore and managed to gross Rs 7.75 crore so far. Meanwhile, Raj Kundra wrote “A new star is born! @aaysharma what a wonderful performance such a natural you are”
