After threatened by Kalinga Sena to Shah Rukh Khan, the commissioner of Odisha police said that to increase the security of the actor. The Kalinga Sena throws ink on the actor’s face and showed him the black flag. According to the Sena alleged that the actor film Asoka is distorting their history and hurts the feeling of the culture and their people. The incident happened when King Khan came for the inauguration of the Men’s Hockey World cup 2018; the match will be held on 27th of November at Kalinga Stadium.
Bhubaneswar DCP Anup Sahu said that:
“We will take adequate security measures for the visit of Shah Rukh Khan during hockey world cup. However, the schedule of the actor is yet to be reached,”
The chief of the outfit Hemant Rath demanded an apology from King Khan for allegedly hurting their sentiments if the Odisha people by his film.
The secretary of the Kalinga Sena Nihar Pani said that:
“WE HAVE MADE PREPARATION TO THROW INK ON THE ACTOR’S FACE AND SHOW HIM BLACK FLAG AT ANY PLACE FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE STADIUM. OUR ACTIVISTS WILL REMAIN PRESENT ALL ALONG THE ROAD WHERE KHAN IS LIKELY TO VISIT.”
