65th National Film Awards 2018: Late actors Sridevi and Vinod Khanna Posthumously awarded.

The 65th National Film Awards 2018 is being hosted at the Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi. Until this morning there was a doubt how the award ceremony would proceed as President Ram Nath Singh Kovind has decided to not to present the awards himself creating a rage amongst the actors and winners deciding to boycott the ceremony. Broadcasting minister Smriti Irani gave away the awards today.

Sridevi and Vinod Khanna posthumously awarded.

Late actors Sridevi and Vinod Khanna were posthumously awarded for their contribution to the Hindi Film Industry. Sridevi was also awarded a National Award for her exceptional performance in Mom. Husband Boney Kapoor alongwith daughters Janhvi and Khushi were in the Capital city to recieve the same.
