Priyanka Chopra Jonas opens up about her ambitions : Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who is on a promotion spree in India for her upcoming romantic drama, ‘The Sky Is Pink’, revealed about the ambitions she would like to pursue in her life. According to the actress, she does not have a bucket list and lives in the present. She would rather start looking inwards, advancing with Nick in her married life. The couple got hitched till death do them part in December last year and have been happy and cheery ever since. The wedding took place in both traditions and we saw a fleet of stars storming their wedding and giving the couple their blessings.
The actress unraveled her idea of fulfilling her personal ambitions, some of them she couldn’t make time for in the past years where she had been establishing herself in Hollywood. Priyanka got her big break in Hollywood with television series Quantico’ in which she portrays the protagonist, Alex Parish. She also bagged a role as an antagonist, Victoria Leeds in ‘Baywatch’ and a supporting role in ‘A Kid Like Jake’ alongside Jim Parsons.
Priyanka, who last won a National Award has been on a rush to establish and adapt to the novel Hollywood environment. She last starred in ‘Jay Gangajaal’ alongside Ajay Devgn post which she caught a break in Hollywood. The 37 year old actress said that she has some personal ambitions and wants to experience the joys of parenthood with Nick. She also stressed upon the fact that she has been living out of suitcases for a while and she would now like to settle down, buy a house in the suburbs and be the owner of a lavish closet.
The actress believes in sacrifices and says that in order to achieve big, one needs to avail opportunities and make sacrifices. She reiterated that there is no free lunch in this world and it requires hard work, perseverance and dedication to be able to emerge at the top rung of the ladder of success. The actress lives in the present and would like to settle down roots with her husband Nick. She added that she has been producing some really good projects and would like to develop further on that ground. The actress recently produced a Marathi film ‘Paani’ which also won a National Award for the best feature film on environmental conservation. Priyanka is looking forward for her latest Hindi movie ‘The Sky is Pink’ to hit screens this Friday which also stars Farhaan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf in lead roles.
