Shahid Kapoor starring Kabir Singh is creating a buzz around the theatres. After two highest grossing Hindi film of the year, Uri: The Surgical Strike and Bharat, Kabhir Singh, the romantic drama have collected approximately Rs 162 crore in its nine-day run in cinemas and making its position as the third highest grossing Hindi film. Everyday Kabir Singh is making some unimaginable score. The movie opened with 20.21 crores, and then on day 2, it scored 22.70 crores. The film remained at its great pace in the box office amidst the India Cricket World Cup. Kabir Singh on the fourth day made about 17.54 crores. The pace that was going for Kabir Singh slowed down a little after the 3rd day, making Rs 17.54 on the fourth day and then following on 5th day with Rs 16.63 crores. On the sixth day, the movie garnered about Rs 15.91 crores. The total collection of Kabir Singh is 120.81 crores. It is very clear that Kabir Singh is giving a tough competition to Bharat at the Box office Collection.
Kabir Singh is the remake of 2017 Telugu hit Arjun Reddy which is played Vijay Deverakonda and it is almost surprising to see how the film has broken the record for the biggest Sunday number of 2019. Despite tough competition from Ayushman Khan’s latest film Article 15, which released on Friday, the film made 17.10 crore on Saturday and the film is expected to have garnered Rs 18 crore on Sunday which brings to a total collection of Rs 180 crore approx. The trade analyst, Tarun Adarsh opines that if Kabir Singh goes on at this pace, then nothing can stop it to cross Rs 200 crore.
Kabir Singh looks like to be all set on its journey to make it 200 crores. Kabir Singh had already crossed the single day collections of Bharat. On day 7 Kabir Singh earned about 13.61 crores whereas Bharat had scored of 8.30 crores. Something tells us that the upcoming days will be all about the clash between Kabir Singh and Bharat and people are undoubtedly waiting eagerly to see how far does Kabir Singh takes the box office collection.
As compared to Bharat, Kabir Singh has received far more appreciation. The film is just about to cross 200 crores and it has won the Friday vs Friday and Monday vs Monday clash. The total collection of Bharat so far was 209.36 crores and Kabir Singh seems to appear as a perfect challenge.
