Everybody is aware of the ICC 2019 Word Cup where the Pakistan cricket team had a big defeat at the hands of the Indian cricket team. But the war seems to be continuing as the Pakistan player Shoaib Malik and his Indian wife tennis player Sania Mirza was targeted on Sunday. After such humiliating defeat against the Indian team in the World Cup, the fans and the supporters are questioning their lack of intent. There were pictures shared by fans of Shoaib Malik, Wahab Riaz and Imad Wasim partying hard the whole night on the eve of the game with Malik’s wife Sania Mirza. This brought a huge controversy and it steamed up especially after the Pakistan cricketer team has lost the game. The fans seem to be clouding their judgment about their dedication and passion in the game due to the fact that they have partied the whole night before the game.
The video went viral on the day before the match and Sania Mirza after noticing it got really angry and thus put out a spiteful tweet against the uploader. The account of the uploader may be deactivated but it was too late and things started going ugly. Actress and celebrity Veena Malik counts as one of the many Pakistanis who responded to the video. In her tweet, she directly attacked Sania Mirza personally by questioning her motherhood for taking an infant child to sheesha bar and to places where unhealthy food is served. “Sania, I am actually so worried for the kid. You guys took him to a sheesha place isn’t it Hazardious? Also as far as I know Archie’s is all about junk food which isn’t good for athletes/Boys. You must know well as you are mother and athlete yourself?” The tennis star, Sania Mirza went furious after reading the tweet but to the very platform, she chose to reply to her. Sania Mirza had a straight forward reply to her as she said, “Veena, I have not taken my kid to a Sheesha place. Not that it’s any of your or the rest of the world’s business cause I think I care about my son a lot more than anyone else does J secondly I am not Pakistan cricketer’s team’s dietician nor am I their mother or principal or teacher”. Veena Malik did not keep her mouth shut even after that. She posted a tweet, “Great to hear that u didn’t took ur kid their. Oh did I mentioned you are a dietician or mother of the Pak team? I said u are an athlete and u must know how much fitness is important for athletes. Also aren’t u a wife of cricketer? U Should take care of his wellbeing. Isn’t it?”
But things got more heated up when Veena pointed out in a series of her tweets mentioning Mirza to have some guts instead of deleting the tweet. The actress alleged that Mirza had put a tweet about her in the magazine cover in the past. “Okay so this Happened. First, she tweeted then deleted that tweet right away and blocked me. I mentioned my concerns in a very civilized, calm & composed manner. It could have been a healthy debate.”
Meanwhile, on Monday Shoaib Mallik cleared the air after a heavy argument on twitter between his wife Sania Mirza and Pakistani actress Veena Malik. Sohaib Mallik wrote this tweet especially for the media to not drag the team’s personal life into a “petty” squalor. He posted a tweet, “On behalf of athletes I would like to request media and people to maintain respect levels in regards to our families, who should not be dragged into petty discussions at will. It’s not a nice thing to do.”
