Director: Anurag Kashyap
Manmarziyaan Movie Review: This Friday, Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyaan hits the cinema houses. The movie called Manmarziyaan which translates to “What wishes your heart” is a love triangle between Rumi (Taapsee Pannu), Vicky(Vicky Kaushal) and Robbie (Abhishek Bachchan) which moves like a roller coaster during the film. The story shares a complicated and confusing love triangle between the characters.
Starts with Vicky, who’s very cool and dashing thinks he and Rumi are star-crossed or made for each other lovers but when it comes to confessing his love before the Rumi’s parents, he postponed. On the other hand, Banker from London, Robbie enters the scene. He’s the kind of guy which every movie, likewise, needs in arrange marriages. Rumi warns Vicky if he doesn’t show his guts to marry her, she will marry Robbie. Now, the rest of the story builds upon this confusing equation but you will surely be entertained.
Manmarziyaan: Star Performance
To some extent, we’re sure about Abhishek Bachchan’s stunning performance as he had his career with films like Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Main Prem Ki Deewani hu.
Thus, Abhishek Bachchan can pull off the character like Robbie in this love triangle. Tapsee Pannu as a Rumi has done complete justice to her role. Being a girl from Punjab who’s bold and loving too is getting an extra applaud for such a role. While the movie gifts us the different Vicky Kaushal whom we have seen in Masaan as an innocent boy. However, he has done many films so far but yet the actor is known for his role in Massan. This film could be the image changing for him.
Watch It or Not: For a long time Bollywood keeps silence on the love triangle movies, thus, this one could help you to relive the essence of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam or Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. But watch it with a different mind without doing a comparison.
