Parmanu Box Office Collection: The story of Pokhran was having a dream run at the box office until now. But the recent releases have had affected its hold as we saw a dip in its Friday’s business, especially in North India.

Parmanu staring John Abraham and Diana Penty have been intriguing audiences interest with its storyline. It managed to survive the onslaught of Alia Bhatt’s Raazi but saw a dip yesterday as Veere Di Wedding and the Punjabi film Carry on Jatta 2 gave Parmanu a stiff competition.

Parmanu Storyline

Parmanu is a story real event based story, it revolves around the nuclear power testing conducted by Indian Army in 1998 in Pokhran, Rajasthan. John Abraham played the lead role of Army officer Ashwat Rana and Diana Penty played the role of Army member Ambalika.

The film takes the audiences through the failures and the hidden facts while bringing out the unsung heroes of the experiment that put India on the map as a global nuclear superpower.

Directed by Abhishek Sharma the film features Boman Irani along with Diana and John.  Originally slated to release on 8 December 2017, but it was pushed quite a few times due to various reasons.
