Match Preview

The chart-toppers, Hyderabad may not be affected by the results of the game. For them, this is a chance to test their high-performing bowling unit against batting stalwarts in the likes of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. But for RCB this match will decide their future in the competition.

The incredibly consistent bowlers of SRH tend to do major damage between the 7th and the 15th over. RCB needs to be mindful of the same. Last time they met RCB went from 55 for 1 in 6 overs to 85 for 5 in 12 at Hyderabad.

RCB might have prowess in batting unit but let’s not underestimate Kane Williamson and Shikhar Dhawan, who has been batting beautifully. It’s time for Umesh Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal to bring their magic. If the top-order is gone cheaply, RCB might score an advantage over the opponent today.

RCB Probable XI

Parthiv Patel, Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Mandeep Singh, Sarfaraz Khan, Moeen Ali, Colin de Grandhomme, Tim Southee, Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal

SRH Probable XI

Shikhar Dhawan, Alex Hales, Kane Williamson, Manish Pandey, Deepak Hooda, Shakib Al Hasan, Wriddhiman Saha/Shreevats Goswami, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Siddarth Kaul, Sandeep Sharma
