Nanu Ki Jaanu Review
The film stars in a typical bollywood way, the hero breaking into houses and throwing up his Munnabhai stunts. Abhay Deol played the role of land mafia in Delhi and facing crisis in both his personal and professional life. He tries to fit into the role of a gangster but his innocent dimple smile took it away. 15 minutes passes away giving a overview of Nanu’s life, which consists of his friends, black scorpio car, guns and lots of extorted properties. One day completely out of character Nanu does a good deed by rushing an accident victim to a hospital. This is very awkward that Sapna Choudhary at a wedding to spending night with foreigners.
On the other hand, Patralekhaa has a short lived role in the film as compared to her previous in City Lights movie, deserves better. The supporting actors especially Manu Rishi deserve a special concentration. He played the role of Nanu close aide Dabbu in the film, he also contribute to the film as a writer.
Nanu Ki Jaanu is about a girl who becomes a ghost and disappears into a chimney, taking the film with her into the pits. In the second half a new emotional angle has introduced, it falls completely flat. The film duration is 132 minutes but some talented actors are wasted and some are given a free run to waste their talent. This is certainly not what we expected.
