Pari Movie Review, Anushka Sharma scares the wit out of the audiences

Anushka Sharma’s home production and self starrer ‘Pari’ has made it to the Box Office on Holi and succeeds to create horror. This is the third film from her home production after NH 10 and Phillauri. Though Phillauri could not create much magic, NH 10 was a tremendous success. Lets see what is the Box Office report of ‘Pari’.

Day 1 Box Office Collection of Pari.

Prosit Roy’s direction Pari has been released on 1400 screens in India and 165 screens worldwide. The screen count details  have been given by trade Analyst Taran Adarsh. According to the reports Pari estimates a Collection 4 crores on Day 1. The Collection is expected to rise on the weekend with mouth publicity. Anushka Sharma’s new avatar has been highly appreciated by the audiences.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh’s Review on Pari.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh appreciated the work of Anushka Sharma in Pari and admired her new look. He liked the kind of choices Anushka Sharma has been making these days. She is a truely versatile actress and absolutely flawless in Pari. However the story of Pari according to him is not that strong and works in bits and spurts. Though the movie has some absolutely eerie moments, the script writing is patchy and lacks the punch.

Film distributor Akshaye Rathi on Pari.

Film distributor Akshaye Rathi had told to Indian Express previously that:

“Pari honestly looks interesting. Till now, the space of horror films was being dominated by Vikram Bhatt and to an extent Ram Gopal Varma but in a way, all the stories that were presented to Indian audiences were similar. 1920 was a bit similar to Haunted 3D which was again similar to Shapit. After years, in fact, after Bhoot (starring Urmila Matondkar in 2003 Ram Gopal Varma directorial), this is for the first time when an A-lister actor would be appearing in such a film. It is a brave attempt by Anushka Sharma.”

Anushka Sharma has made a brave attempt with the great deal of bloody enthusiasm. She has tried really hard and  even the lead actor Parambrata Chatterjee tries to hold the story, but the script is so poorly written that nothing can save it. Lets see what the audiences have to say about it. The Weekend Collection would be the tester for the audiences review on Pari.
