Irrfan Khan: The unconventional actor is suffering from a ‘Rare Disease.’ Reports of him being admitted to the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai are making the rounds. The news might just be a rumor but his fans are getting worried about his well being.

Irrfan Khan shocked everyone when he took to the internet to tell his all that he is suffering from a ‘Rare disease.’ The Actor requested No Speculations along with support and blessings in the post. But how can you stop the rumor mill from churning out gossips?

Irrfan is not suffering from Brain cancer

Soon after his announcement reports started pouring that he is suffering from Brain Cancer and is admitted to Koikilaben Hospital for treatment.

The officials of the hospital denied the rumors in their statement to PTI, “It is not true. He is not here at the hospital for treatment, ” 

Although no comments were made when asked if the disease is Brain Cancer. A spokesperson for the actor told PTI “We will comment as soon as possible. No comments at the moment,”

Irrfan next project with Vishal Bhardwaj

Irrfan was supposed to start shooting for his next film with his Piku co-star Deepika PadukoneThe Vishal Bhardwaj film was postponed due to the ailment of both its lead actors. The Padmaavat actress is reportedly suffering from a severe backache.

The 51-year-old actor has become of one the most dependable performers in both Bollywood and Hollywood. In his almost three-decade career, the actor has earned accolades for offbeat films such as The Lunchbox, Piku,  Maqbool, Paan Singh Tomar, Hindi Medium, and Haasil.

His affair with Hollywood started from his big screen debut, Salaam Bombay, that was nominated for Academy Awards. The actor went ahead and gave stellar performances in highly acclaimed movies like The Namesake, Jurassic World, The Amazing Spider-Man, and Life of Pi.

Irrfan has two films lined up to be released in 2018, Abhinay Deo’s Blackmail and Akash Khurana’s Karwan.
