Pari Teaser

The Pari teaser released on Wednesday. The Anushka Sharma’s Pari has every element of horror you can associate with. It also has 2 Anushkas.

Anushka already played a lovable ghost in Phillauri.

Anushka Sharma has already been associated with the ghostly affair. She acted as a ‘Lovable Ghost’ in Phillauri. She must have liked working with the super natural elements so much that she scrapped the ‘Lovable’ and kept the Ghost in her next feature film ‘Pari’.

Whats in the teaser?

With the teaser being out one thing is definite – It is not a fairy tale. Instead Pari is offering all the elements that can be associated with the genre. We see a woman (Anushka) possessed, a man (Parambrata Chatterjee) who was once fond of her but now wants to get rid off. And a devil of course who is ‘Out to play’. It comes with lot of shrieks given to a tortured soul.

The twist in the teaser comes towards the end when Anushka wakes up suddenly with a jerk to a noise. She follows a chain that leads her to a room where she comes accross a bloodied version of herself who is drinking a liquid from a baby’s feeding bottle which is definitely not milk. Can this be an indication of abuse of a child involved? The teaser ends with Anushka’s blood laughs as the door slams behind her. Watch the teaser here.

A few days ago Anushka had shared a short video where she is sitting on a bed with a strange expression on her face with a cartoon running on the TV as the camera focuses towards her legs. Watch the Pari Screamer 2 here.

This is Anushka’s 3rd Movie as a producer. She had earlier acted and produced NH10 (2015) and Phillauri (2017). Currently Anushka is working with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Zero’. It is noteworthy that it will be the first film after she tied knot with Virat Kohli at a private ceremony in Italy on December 11.
