After the blockbuster Dangal, its now time for ‘Secret Superstar’ and the results are ecstatic. The movie is minting money overseas and proves out to be one of the best movies with 10 nominations at the 63rd Filmfare Awards including Best Film, Best Director -Chandan, Best Actress – Zaira Wasim, and Best Actor Supporting Role – Aamir Khan. The movie has collected a total of 526.09 crores of which 376.09 crores come from China, 80 crores from India and the rest from other counties worldwide.

The blockbuster film got 10 nominations at the 63rd Filmfare Awards of which 3 got converted which include: Best Actress (Critics) – Zaira Wasim, Best Supporting Actress – Meher Vij, and Best playback singer (Female) – Meghana Mishra.
Storyline of ‘Secret Superstar’.
The story of the Secret Superstar is set in Varodara, a small city in Gujarat, India. The story revolves around Insia, (Zaira Wasim) who lives with her mother Najma (Meher Vij) Father Farook (Raj Arjun) and brother Guddu. Insia is very fond of singing but her father is against her dream of becoming a singer. Insia’s travels for work and returns only once week. She wants to participate in a Singing competition which has the Prize Money as a Laptop and free one year Internet connection. Insia wants to participate but her mother asks her to seek permission of her father which never happens. To satisfy her Najma buys Insia a laptop. Soon she discovers that nowadays people use YouTube a lot. She records her songs under the name of Secret Superstar with a burka so that her father does not recognise her and soon becomes overnight sensation. She gots recognised by Aamir Khan who is a rude music director and once a great singer. The story revolves around Insia how she finally reveals her identity on the live television and makes her mother divorce her father.
Now after Aamir Khan’s Magic in China it’s now time for Salman Khan to try his luck as Bajrangi Bhaijaan Releases in 8000 screens accross China on 2nd March.
