Princess Charlotte, 2, is growing up right in front of our eyes! And to prove how big she is, the 35 year old Duchess, Kate Middleton, snapped two adorable photos of the tiny tot before she left for her very first day of nursery school on January 8. The Kensington Palace shared the aw-worthy pictures on the very same day through twitter with the caption,
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share two photographs of Princess Charlotte at Kensington Palace this morning.”
They later added in the comments,
“The images were taken by The Duchess shortly before Princess Charlotte left for her first day of nursery at the Willcocks Nursery School.”
In the pictures Charlotte is wearing a stylish red coat by Amaia Kids, complementing it with a matching red pair of shoes and a small red bow in her hair. The little one also wore a light pink scarf, gray stockings, and a light pink backpack by Cath Kidston. What a stylish way to begin the new year! The images were taken outside on some stairs located on the grounds of the famous palace. In one, Charlotte is seen sitting, and in another one she is holding onto the railing . The princess looks just like her mama.
Which school will the princess go?
So the adorable princess is officially a student at Willcocks Nursery School, located in a church hall. The school is also the opening to London’s Royal Albert Hall, which is located very close to the family’s Kensington Palace home. Elder brother Prince George, 4, also started his school for the first time when he was two years old. However George did not go to Willcocks. Instead, Kate and Prince William, 35, chose a Montessori school for him. Prince George only attended part time, while Charlotte will be at Willcocks for full time.
