Timothée Chalamet was nominated for Call Me by Your Name, The Golden Globes 2018 and wanted to win.
The 22 – year – old recently appeared on The Tonight Show on Wednesday. It was the Stars second appearance on the show and he seemed quite confident this time.
On his own admission,Timothée Chalamet has been so nervous that he couldn’t look up.
“It’s like having a normal conversation—except there’s a hundred people right here watching!” he mentioned.
While Jimmy happily corrected him that it’s “Millions of people, actually, But it’s no big deal.”
Chalamet played lead role in Luca Guadagnino’s romance Call Me by Your Name. The role earned him three nominations
- Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Motion Picture Drama
- Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role and
- The BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. Hope he can grab these.
He was also appreciated for his supporting role in Greta Gerwig’s directorial debut Lady Bird. He has recently wrapped a Woody Allen film with Selena Gomez, said it’s “so weird.” These achievements are good confidence boosters.
Star Struck
The Newcomer admitted that he was Star Struck at the Golden Globes 2018.
“I look out in the room and it’s all actors and directors I’ve admired for a long time, and then sometimes my mouth is moving, like, ‘Oh…They’re listening to me right now. This is totally surreal. This is so strange,'”
“I’m loving it! Like, I’m loving it!” the actor added. “I feel like I’m living a form of the dream.”

Although Timothée Chalamet mentioned that he was honored and in aw of the rest of the nominees. Which includes legends like

- Gary Oldman, The Darkest Hour

The winner of the Golden Globes 2018 is Gary Oldman – Darkest Hour. He later admitted of course candidly, that he wanted to win. but can we blame him, won’t we all.
