January 21st will see the SAG Awards of 2018. It will be telecasted live on TNT and TBS at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.

It was announced earlier that the first ever host of SAG Awards would be Kristen Bell. Now have a look at the Presenters of the show.

The Presenters

Halle Berry – is a two time Winner of SAG’s Actor Statuette. First time for her performance in Introducing Dorothy Dandridge. Her Performance in Monster’s Ball won her second award along with an Oscar.

Dakota Fanning – The Youngest individual SAG Award Nominee ever. She was just seven when she was nominated for I Am Sam.

Lupita Nyong’o  – She has received SAG Awards for her supporting role in 12 Years a Slave. It also bagged her an Oscar.

Emma Stone  – She is a veteran at SAG Awards by bagging Three of them. One for Birdman, the other one was for The Help. The third one was for La La Land that also got her an Oscar and Golden Globe.

Kelly Marie Tran – She will present the SAG Awards for the first time.

Additional to these ladies the Nominees for SAG Awards in the category Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture will present the Awards.

Here is the Full list of Nominees of 2018 Screen Guild Awards aka SAG awards. 

Announcing their names Executive Producer Kathy Connell told the press that before they present the award, they will be introducing a clip from the relevant film.

“At its best, the cast of a film shapes the story into a believable world that reflects the reality of every character’s life. This award recognizes those cast performances that embody why acting is a collaborative art.” 


Holly Hunter – She has been nominated Seven Times for her work in Television and Film. In Addition to her nomination as a part of the cast, she has a Supporting Role nomination this year.

Zoe Kazan and Kumail Nanjiani both are first time Nominee and Presenter at Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Ray Romano – Everybody Loves Raymond has earned him 12 previous nominations.

FROM THE CAST OF GET OUT (Universal Pictures):

Daniel Kaluuya  Along with his Cast nomination the first time presenter and nominee is nominated for his Leading Role in Get Out.

Allison Williams Another first timer as a Nominee and Presenter.


Laurie Metcalf  – a three time nominee is again nominated for her Supporting Role in addition to being a cast member of Lady Bird.

Saoirse Ronan – Nominated for her Leading Role in Lady Bird along with the cast member. She has already won Golden Globes 2018  in the same Category


Mary J. Blige is a first-time presenter and nominee at this year’s Screen Actors Guild Awards. Her portrayal of Florence Jackson in Mudbound received a nomination for Outstanding Performance by Female Actor in a Supporting Role in addition to as a cast member.

Jason Clarke is a first-time nominee and presenter at this year’s Screen Actors Guild Awards.


Woody Harrelson  – Nominated for his Supporting Role as well as for his cast performance in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. The actor is one time SAG Winner and Seven time nominated.

Frances McDormand  – She has taken the award Actor home twice already. And has been swiping the awards this year as well for her performance in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. Nominated also in best actress category she can gran the third one as well.

Sam Rockwell He has received a Golden Globes in the same category and is nominated for his supporting role in three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, along with the cast nomination.

received his third and fourth Actor® nominations this year, as a cast member as for his Supporting Role in  for which he previously received a Golden Globe.

Now, this is going to be an interesting twist in the awards. loking forward to it.

It was revealed earlier that all 13 acting categories will be presented by Women. The decisions seems to be well suited in light of all the events. The Golden Globes had Times’s Up Movement in its forefrontThe Critics’ Award had a fitting Speech by the #SeeHer award recipient Gal Gadot 

It seems the year 2018 with all it’s effort will bring a definite change in the society.
