On the holiday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. many Hollywood stars headed Pasadena Civic Auditorium for The 49th NAACP Image Awards.

The awards are presented by The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). It honors outstanding representations and achievements of people of color in the field of Motion Pictures, Television, Music and Literature.

Anthony Anderson, the Black-ish star hosted the award. The night also has performances by Common and Andra Day.
