Scarlett Johansson gave a powerful speech in front of the Los Angeles crowd gathered for Women’s March. Although the star did not mention the name, her bafflement and anger towards someone was apparent.

The Speech

“My mind baffles—how could a person publicly stand by an organization that helps to provide support for victims of sexual assault while privately preying on people who have no power. I want my pin back by the way.”

“How is it ok for someone in a position of power to use that power to take advantage of someone in a lesser position just because you can? Does that ever make it ok? “If a person isn’t saying yes, but they aren’t saying no, how can anyone feel justified to make that decision for them?”

The star concluded with a hope for future, that things will be different when her daughter Rose grows up.

“For me, moving forward means my daughter growing up in a world where she doesn’t have to be a victim of what has cruelly become the social norm. That she doesn’t have to fit into the bindings of the female condition. Time’s up on the female condition.”

The Pin

At the start of this year # Times Up Movement was introduced. To support the moment Celebs wore Black on the Red carpet of Golden Globes 2018. Men and Women were dressed in Black sporting a pin that says Time’s up. Everyone helped spread the message of Solidarity by doing so, including James Franco.

Scarlett Johansson Rep’s later confirm that she was indeed pointing her finger at James Franco. Franco is accused of Sexual misconduct by not less than 5 Women. The Golden Globe Award winning actor has denied the claims

In his appearance on The Late Show, the actor told the host Stephen Colbert why he choose to wear Black and that Pin.

“I support change; I support 50-50 in 2020, which just means, you know, people that are underrepresented—women, and people of color, people in the LGBT community—get leadership positions [and] that they fill all positions that they’ve been deprived of.”

The Actor added that he completely believes in the cause “I completely believe in that. That’s why I wore it.”

The Allegations on the Actor is still not proven, but Scarlett Johansson may have a valid point. What are your thoughts on it?
