The 24th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards show was a night undefeated. It was a night to remember. There were many favourite moments at the night. Here are the list of 5 of them.

The 2018 SAG awards just proved to be eventful. The award show entertained as well as impressed. Here are the list of 5 favourite moments of the glamorous night.

1. Kristen Bell’s Opening

It was epic. The opening was her hilarious  monologue on The First Lady Melania Trump for being unable to make any progress in her mission to end cyber bullying. She said:

“There has never been a host for this awards before. First time. First person. First LADY! I honestly never thought I would grow up to be the First Lady, but you know what, I kinda of like it. I think my first initiative as First Lady will be cyberbullying…because I have yet to see any progress on that problem yet,”

2. Morgan Freeman’s Lifetime achievement acceptance speech.

Morgan Freeman just won the hearts with his acceptance speech. He advised the Hollywood to change the appearance of the  award statue. He said:

“I am going to tell you what’s wrong with this statue. It works from the back. From the front… it’s gender specific. Maybe I started something,”

3. This Is Us won the best TV ensemble in a drama series.

It was a well deserved award and thankfully it was recognised that way. It was a very emotional moment for everyone including its cast and crew.

4. Nicole Kidman touched everyone’s heart by her acceptance speech.

Nicole went very emotional while accepting the Outstanding Performance by a female actor in a miniseries award for Big Little Lies. She said that she has been an actor since the age of 14 and winning this award was like “reality colliding with fantasy.”. She is a true champion as she made it to the show inspite of having Flu.

5. Presence of The Stranger Things Cast.

The Stranger Things cast unfortunately  didn’t take home any awards. However their presence at the show itself lit the Red Carpet on fire. The cast includes Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb Mclaughlin, and Noah Schnapp.
