Padmavati (Padmavat) Box Office Collection Day 2 : Rani Padmavati, is ruling the Box Office as much as she can, under the given circumstances. Padmaavat is the story of valour of Padmavati (Deepika Padukone), Maharaj Rawal Ratan Singh (Shahid Kapoor) and greed of Sultan Alauddin Khilji (Ranveer Singh).

The film did manage to float, amidst the controversies. A steady rise was Predicted on Box Office on the Republic day Holiday.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati performed exceptionally well on it’s second day. As per the early estimates, it garnered Rs 32 Crore. Taking the total earnings from Indian markets to Rs. 56 Crore. Taran Adarsh Tweeted the trade report for day 2.

The first day contribution was around 19 Crore. Additional 5 Crore came in from the Special paid previews on Wednesday. The total collection would have been around 70 Crore in two days, baring more screens.

The film did not get any screen in major states like Madhya Pradesh, Gujrat, Bihar and Rajasthan. All thanks to the protesters and supporters of Karni Sena.

Padmavati (Padmaavat)’s 100 Crore Mark

The film is raking positive reviews from it’s peers and the audiences. Plus, the bans and protests are somehow working in favor by increasing curiosity of audiences.

It is quite possible that Padmavti will become the ‘first 100 crore movie of 2018,’ by the end of its extended opening weekend. Seeing no big release on the crease Padmaavat can score a lot in the upcoming 12 days.

The Viacom18 Motion Pictures, co-produced film has 4000 screens across India (in the allowed states). It is also performing great in the overseas market.
