Jordyn Wieber gives her Victim Impact Statement after Aly Raisman

The Larry Nassar case is getting crueler by the day. Off course it was known that he has abused around 140 women. But listening to the stories of these Olympians is another icy feeling altogether. It is time to hear victim impact statement of Jordyn Wieber.

The Fierce Five

The Fierce Five refers to the artistic gymnastics team that won the second team gold medal for the United States at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.

The Fierce Five - Jordyn Wieber gives her Victim Impact Statement after Aly Raisman

The Five members of the team were McKayla Maroney,Gabby Douglas, Kyla Ross, Aly Raisman and Jordyn Wieber.

Unfortunately Four members of the Fierce Five have accused Larry Nassar. The Team has reunited, but not for a happy cause. Maroney, Douglas, Raisman and Wieber are victims of Sexual Abuse by the same man under the guise ‘treating them’.

McKayla Maroney and Aly Raisman have already presented their victim impact statement in the court.

Jordyn Wieber

Jordyn like Raisman had an angry undertone to the Statement.

“I thought that training for the Olympics would be the hardest thing that I would ever have to do. But, in fact, the hardest thing I ever had to do is process that I am a victim of Larry Nassar.”

She mention why her and everyone’s story is important.

“I’m an Olympian. Despite being abused, I worked so hard and managed to achieve my goal. But I want everyone, especially the media, to know that despite my athletic achievements, I am one of over 140 women and survivors whose story is important.”

“Our pain is all the same. And our stories are all important.”

Tables have definitely turned for Larry. He is now facing the wrath of his actions.

“And now, Larry, it’s your turn to listen to me. The tables have turned, Larry. We are here. We have our voices, and we are not going anywhere.”

“I am here to face you, Larry, so you can see I have regained my strength, that I’m no longer a victim. I’m a survivor. Larry, you do realise now that we, this group of women you so heartlessly abused over such a long period of time, are now a force and you are nothing.”

We cannot deny that what happened is an unfortunate event. But are now more proud of these ladies for standing up the injustice. Questioning not only Larry but also the authorities.
