Ellen shared the sad news with the audiences and also a few things about her father.
Her Father Elliott DeGeneres, died at the age of 92. Ellen also shares that it wasn’t sudden and she got to say goodbye to him.
Ellen DeGeneres is a proud daughter as she mentions the fine qualities of her father. In fact she dedicated her sense of humor to her father as well.
The Live audiences had tears in their eyes. Ellen herself sounded a little choked.
She mentions that the whole family only went once on a trip and that was at the Warner Brothers studios. The Studio where she has a stage named after her. After he passed away Ellen saw a rainbow over her studio.
You definitely have him looking over you Ellen.
While her chat with Oprah, the talk show mentions:
“So many times over the past 15 years, people have come up to me and say to me that when they’re going through a tough time this show gets them through it,”
