Have you heard the song “Like I’m Gonna Lose You” by Meghan Trainor and featuring John Legend. What about “You Can’t Make Old Friends” by Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton. Well then you have surely heard the penmanship of Caitlyn Smith.

The Nashville based Singer songwriter has indeed written some great songs for others. But now she is all set to sing her on songs.

Starfire

Caitlyn has just launched her Debut album on January 19. She took to Instagram to announce and thanks her stars.

” I’m so excited for you guys to hear these songs – it’s been years in the making and I’m so proud of this record. It’s been a long and winding journey but I wouldn’t change a thing… it brought me to writing my own story and cut songs that I love and to not think about anything else but that. “

Caitlyn Smith was just 16 years old when came to Nashville. Realizing soon enough that songwriting can be a viable career for her. But as luck would have it she started missing performing live. And she mentions is the post it was indeed a hard journey but she had friends and family supporting her.

Caitlyn made a special appearance on The Tonight show with Jimmy Fallon. She sang one of the song from the Starfire album – Contact High.
