Cardi B, 25 and Bruno Mars, 32 raised the volume at the 2018 Grammy Awards on 28th January 2018 at the Madison Square Garden in the New York City. They got the audience travel to the 90’s with their chart topping hit ‘Finesse’ performance. They rocked the stage and mesmerised the audience with their power packed performance. In fact comedian Dave Chappelle while presenting the award for Best Rap Album mentioned about the amazing performance by the duet.

Cardi B was very excited for her double nominations at her first Grammy. She had been nominated for best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for ‘Bodak Yellow’ , her triple platinum hit. She mentioned at the Red Carpet interviews that Shen was so nervous that there were butterflies in her ‘Stomach and Vagina’. She flattered everybody at the Red Carpet with her pleated white gown with Butterfly sleeves and to add to her beauty was her 8 carat engagement ring courtesy fiancé Offset.

The longtime host of the Grammys LL Cool J was replaced for the second time in row by James Corden. The 3 hour show featured some of the breath taking and power packed performances from various artists including Chris Stapleton, SZA, JAY-Z, and U2. Besides the Best New Artist nominees Alessia Cara and Khalid teamed up with the rapper Logic to perform on ‘1-800-273-8255’. They were joined by the group of Suicide attempt and Loss Survivors selected by the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and Emmylou Harris, the Lifetime achievement award recipient.
As a tribute to the Show’s return to New York, Patti LuPone performed on ‘Dont cry for Me Argentina’ from her Evita. Besides Ben Platt paid tribute to Leonard Bernstein and Andrew Lloyd Webber by his performance from West Side Story.
