Black in Solidarity, but it is Fashionable as AF proves Golden Globes 2018 Red Carpet

2018 Golden Globes

Golden Globes 2018 Red Carpet saw a revolution with all of the invitees wearing Black on the red carpet.

This was done as a part of solidarity to support Time up Now movement. A pre – decided decision of wearing Black was made by the Leading Ladies.

Men and Women both joined the initiative with full vigor, see here for more details.

But the question arise that did the black hinder the Fashion quotient of the Golden Globes 2018 Red Carpet. Well, why should we answer this question when you can see it for yourself.

Aren't I a lil ray of pitch black ? Super thankful of so many things already this 2018. Thankful to be present for a much overdue time for women, men, generations before, and the next to come. Thankful for Mai sedulous glam team @uzmeebeauty @noogiethai @chelsea_vonmach who take my (often annoying, specific as hell..shutup Noogie) vision and over deliver moments where getting ready is actually the best part & our finished look is just the cherry on top ?? Speaking of ?s thanks @voguemagazine for the Best Dressed mention ? And thankful for @dcp & @goldenglobes for always letting me bring my "Jeanius" ideas to the table so we can make red carpet magic year after year ???‍♀️? Twirling from here…all Mai Love. #grateful #GoldenGlobes #HFPA #Timesup See IG story

In any other event we would have been comparing these ladies asking who wore black best. And to be honest no body is stopping us either.

This not to be Hypocritically correct, neither to be polite. But let’s say that the event has genuinely developed the feeling of Solidarity in us as well. We hope this flame rises and burns all the injustice for the birth of a better, justified World.
