The comedian and ‘The Master of none’ star Aziz Ansari was accused by an anonymous girl for having been sexually assaulted on a date with Aziz. Aziz Ansari has finally responded to the accusations. The comedian has finally released his side of the story on the date.
Here is what he has to say:
“In September of last year, I met a woman at a party. We exchanged numbers. We texted back and forth and eventually went on a date. We went out to dinner, and afterwards we ended up engaging in sexual activity, which by all indications was completely consensual.”
He further added to his part of the story explaining his aftermath to the date saying:
“The next day, I got a text from her saying that although ‘it may have seemed okay,’ upon further reflection, she felt uncomfortable. It was true that everything did seem okay to me, so when I heard that it was not the case for her, I was surprised and concerned. I took her words to heart and responded privately after taking the time to process what she had said. I continue to support the movement that is happening in our culture. It is necessary and long overdue.”
The Brooklyn based photographer while talking to Babe, accused Aziz Ansari for sexually assaulting and misbehaving on the date. She alleged that she was giving off cues to Aziz that she was not interested and comfortable but he seemed to have not noticed or if noticed then bluntly ignored infront of his desire for sex.
The Golden Globes Award winner for the best comedy in the viewers choice category for his show ‘The Master of none’ had worn a times up badge at the Golden Globes for his support for the women. He was reportedly called a hypocrite by the girl in question during her conversation with Babe, because on one side he portrays to support women for liberation and on the other hand he himself sexually assaulted her. She says all men are same.
However reading Aziz’s side of story we feel the girl might be trying to defame Aziz after he won the Golden Globes award. What say people. What are your views on the same??
