Friday episode of the famous Fallon tv show “The Tonight Show” had canceled so that Jimmy Fallon could be with his mother Gloria Fallon in the hospital.

At the age of 68, Gloria Fallon, mother of Jimmy Fallon dies yesterday night at a hospital in the New York City.

 Fallon family is very close to each other and were a happy, close-knit family. Jimmy Fallon’s father, James Fallon met Gloria while they were in high school coincidentally in Brooklyn. The younger Gloria arrived on the late-night staple as a segment of Gloria brother’s game shares.

“Jimmy Fallon’s mother, Gloria, died very composedly. Jimmy Fallon was at his mother, Gloria’s bedside, along with her loved ones, when she died at NYU Langone Medical Center in NYC,” by a Fallon family spokesperson’s statement, “Our benedictions go out to Jimmy and his family as they go through this difficult time.”

NBC declared on Friday that, “The Tonight Show” had eliminated Friday night’s incidental segment so that Jimmy Fallon could be with Gloria in the hospital. A repeat telecast broadcasted in that episode’s place.

In 2014 Gloria Fallon was in appearance when Jimmy, her son got over as the emcee of The Tonight Show.

Jimmy once said on “The Howard Stern Show” that his mother was a nun at a significant point in her journey, for a short period of her life. According to an anecdote told by Danny DeVito, Gloria Fallon once disrupted a Broadway performance by Robert De Niro when she opened a sweet candy wrapper.

As part of the host’s recurring hashtag segments, he once shared a memory from his mother for #MomQuotes on Twitter: “My mom and I were talking on the phone for the third time that day, and she said, “We don’t talk enough.” #MomQuotes”

Stephen Colbert tweeted his solaces on Sunday: “Mom is the first audience and the best. Remembering Jimmy Fallon and his family in our prayers today.”
