The hurricane relief single “Almost like praying” has almost arrived and we couldn’t love this any better. Lin-Manuel Miranda teased the star-studded song which features Marc Anthony, Ruben Blades, Camila Cabello, Pedro Capo, Dessa, Gloria Estefan, Fat Joe, Luis Fonsi, Juan Luis Guerra, Alex Lacamoire, John Leguizamo,Jennifer Lopez, Rita Moreno, Ednita Nazario,Joell Ortiz, Anthony Ramos, Gina Rodriguez,Gilberto Santa Rosa, PJ Sin Suela, Tommy Torres and Ana Villafañe along the 37-year-old artist, Lin-Manuel Miranda. In the lyrics of the song, we will be able to hear the names of all the 78 towns in Puerto Rico.

On Thursday, Marinda went on to the microblogging social site, Twitter and wrote,”Y’all, when I say all hands on deck for Puerto Rico I mean ALL HANDS ON DECK #AlmostLikePraying”

According to the sources, it was not difficult for Marinda to get big celebrities and musicians to feature in his new song as Luis Fonzi, the hit song Despacito’s singer didn’t even ask any question before saying yes as he just agreed when he was given the offer.

Marinda even tweeted “Here’s @LuisFonsi’s response to my asking him to be on this song via DM. We’d never met. He hadn’t heard the song. #AlmostLikePraying”.

And just after that, plenty of famous names in the Latin music joined their hands and gave their voices make the track “Almost Like Praying” which will benefit in rebuilding the island nation of Puerto Rico and helping its victims after the fatal disaster caused by the hurricane Maria.

Two weeks ago, the citizens of Puerto Rico were devastated and left in complete misery by the Hurricane Maria.


The population around that area is about 3.4 million people, who live on the Caribbean island and U.S. territory. Most of them were left without electricity and thousands have lost their homes because of the violent destructions caused by the storm. People were even in very bad need of food and fuel. Also, the lack of drinking water has caused severe tension in that area. The hospitals are suffering to operate properly in this extreme situation and the cell services are under the cloud of threat too.

International icons like Jennifer Lopez and Daddy Yankee have also donated a million dollars to help aid the facilities on the island nation so that the population of Peurto Rico can get back on its feet as soon as possible.
