KAVITA DEVI: Awarded as First Indian Female Wrestler up for WWE Developmental Contract

KAVITA DEVI is awarded a WWE DEVELOPMENTAL CONTRACT. Kavita Devi is the first ever woman wrestler to have this award for India.

“I achieved this position because of my family’s support. And I want to say that nothing is impossible for women to achieve,” said Kavita Devi, one of our Country’s heroines.

She became the first Indian woman to employ with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), stated that nothing is impossible for a woman to achieve.

Genuinely, “Will follows its way”.

Kavita Devi has a past wrestling experience on Independent Circuit under the ring names Kavita and Hard KD, most notably for Continental Wrestling Entertainment.

Kavita Devi has also thanked and credited the former Indian WWE Male Champion Dalip Singh Rana a.k.a The Great Khali for the achievement.

“When I started training her, I knew she will definitely go to WWE,” Dalip Singh Rana told the Media as he was always confident about her way to the WWE.

Kavita Devi, who was a member of the WWE‘s Mae Young classic tournament, broke records by becoming the first ever Indian lady wrestler to be awarded a WWE developmental contract.

Kavita Dalal entered The Great Khali’s school of Wrestling, named Continental Wrestling Entertainment in February 2016, where she began her training as a Professional Wrestler. Devi made her introduction for the progression in June 2016, under the ring name Kavita, taking the “Open Challenge” of B. B. Bull Bull before attacking her.

As per the latest contract signing this weekend, WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) has authenticated employing the prior competitive powerlifter and South Asian Games gold medal winner Kavita Devi. She also has the superiority of being the first Indian woman to compete in a WWE ring, competing in the Mae Young Classic women’s tournament in August.

Our Haryana Girl Kavita Devi is now expected to begin training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

WWE has confirmed the news saying, Kavita said, “It was a privilege to be the first Indian woman to compete in WWE,” said Devi. “Participating in the Mae Young Classic with some of the best female performers in the world was a great learning experience. Now I am looking forward to pursuing my dream of becoming the first WWE Women’s Champion from India.”
