GOLMAAL AGAIN: BREAKING BOX OFFICE RECORD OF HIGHEST WEEKEND COLLECTION THIS YEAR

The Bollywood box office finally saw some happiness as the festive season kicked in. First, Judwaa 2 grossed over Rs. 200 crores and now Golmaal again experienced the biggest weekend collection in 2017. The drought that box office had seen this year finally came to some relief after the Diwali. The fourth installment of the comedy franchise Golmaal released last Friday and made the audience stormed into the theatres.

The multi starrer movie directed by Rohit Shetty was a complete entertainer and made viewers laugh a lot.

Not only at the single screens, but the movie was enjoyed by the movie-goers at the multiplexes all over the country.
Golmaal Again has a bunch of entertaining actors. This list includes Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Khemu, Tushar Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra and Tabu.

The supporting cast includes Johnny Lever, Prakash Raj, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mukesh Tiwari, Sanjay Mishra, Murali Sharma, Vijay Patkar, Uday Tikekar, Ashwini Kalsekar, Vrajesh Hirjee, Besant Ravi and Nana Patekar (as himself).

Golmaal Again had a terrific opening on Friday grossing Rs. 30.14 Crores. Following that, the comedy entertainer earned rs.28.37 crores and rs. 29.09 crores on Saturday and Sunday respectively. Summing up with a weekend collection of Rs. 87.60 crores domestically.
Golmaal Again earned plenty overseas as well with an earning of $3.17 million ( which is equivalent to Rs. 20.62 crores).

Golmaal Again marks Ajay Devgn’s tenth collaboration with Rohit Shetty and the success of this movie may bring us another few movies in the Golmaal Franchise.
The first movie of the action-comedy franchise, Golmaal: Fun Unlimited released in 2006 and was an ultimate comedy with wonderful humor. The movie was a raging success at the box office. The second movie, Golmaal returns and third, Golmaal 3 released in 2008 and 2010 respectively.
Director Rohit Shetty has already announced that we will see Golmaal 5 in sometime before 2020.

The franchise, if extended, will become the first movie series in Bollywood to have five installments.

Golmaal Again has already crossed RS. 130 crores worldwide at the box office world until now and the producers are hopeful that the movie will easily surpass Rs. 200 crores by the end of the second weekend.
