2.0 Box Office Collection Day 6: Akshay’s film breaks Baahubali: The Beginning’s record with crossing this amount!

2.0 Box Office Collection Day 6: The Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 is smashing several records at Box Office as the Hindi version of the film crossed Rs 100 crore mark on Monday. The film added Rs 13 crores to its five days total which now reads as Rs 111 crore.

However, after completing its six days at Box Office, the movie now ranks second in the list of highest earning dubbed the film in Bollywood. Beating the lifetime collection Baahubali: The Beginning, 2.0 has crossed Rs 122.50 crore mark. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the latest figures as he said that the movie had set Bollywood on fire.

He wrote “Double digits yet again on Day 6 [Tue]… The trending on weekdays is EXCELLENT… Thu 20.25 cr, Fri 18 cr, Sat 25 cr, Sun 34 cr, Mon 13.75 cr, Tue 11.50 cr. Total: ₹ 122.50 cr. India biz. Note: HINDI version.” Besides, the movie is yet to break the lifetime collection of Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju which stands as a this year’s Highest earner film so far.

While crossing Rs 100 crore mark Adarsh tweeted “2.0 cruises past Rs. 100 cr mark on Day 5 [Mon]… Will emerge Akshay Kumar’s highest grosser *before* Week 1 concludes… Thu 20.25 cr, Fri 18 cr, Sat 25 cr, Sun 34 cr, Mon 13.75 cr. Total: Rs. 111 cr. India biz. Note: HINDI version.”

He tweeted again “After packing an impressive total in its *extended* opening weekend, 2.0 stays super-strong on the crucial Mon… Collecting double digits on a working day [Mon] – without enhanced ticket rates – indicates it has stamina to perform well on weekdays. Note: HINDI version,” he tweeted.

2.0 had opened up with a whopping amount of Rs 64 crore on a Thursday. According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the makers have already cracked deal worth Rs 370 crore through satellite rights, digital rights and more.
